Core Members of SCI-PRO investigations team:

Michael Campbell (Founder / Investigator / Webmaster):

By day, Michael works as a case manager and has a passion for working with children, teenagers and families. He has 12+ years of experience working with children and adults. In his leisure time, Michael has a passion for exploring and visiting places that were said to be "haunted." His love for this hobby started after taking a Folklore class taught by Dr Grady while attending Bloomington High School North his Junior year (1993-1994). Michael continued his passion during the weekends whenever he had spare time. Michael welcomes all challenges provided to the team in order to help improve the data collection in the research and study of paranormal activities. His main goals in investigations and research in this field is to 1) provide the owner with a high quality investigation and provide them with any evidence caught, 2) educate about what is happening, 3) discuss preservation and upkeep of a location, if at all possible, and work with owners to see how this can be accomplished, and 4) ensure safety at all times. Although all cases are important to Michael, and his team, priority is always given to cases that involve children first. As a father of two, Michael can empathize with a family that feels helpless in a situation they knows little about. Also to note is that Michael is a 2001 graduate of Indiana University of Bloomington.

Tyler works as a Team Leader at a local electronics repair company well known in Bloomington. He has been employed there for over 4 years. The 2 years prior to his employment with that company, he was deployed through the Indiana National Guard at the Newport Chemical Depot in Newport, Indiana. He has also been activated for several "relief" missions 1) to assist in the horribly crippled gulf coastline after Hurricane Katrina and 2) several local Indiana flooding episodes. Tyler has been a soldier in the National Guard for about 10 years and intends on staying until he retires. Tyler has a wife, Jen, who he has been married to for roughly 2 years after first dating about 10 years ago. They also have a little boy named Aiden who is approaching 2 years old. Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and his close friends. Tyler met Michael (see above) through his wife 10 years ago. Since then, Tyler and Michael have become good friends and "partners in crime" when checking out various places said to be haunted. Tyler has always had an interest in the paranormal, although he approaches it with a skeptic’s eye. He has never had a personal experience; however he is not willing to rule out the possibility of ghosts, spirits. Do ghosts really exist? That is one of the many questions that he would like to answer and believes that answering that question requires a scientific based approach. Tyler hopes to accomplish being able to place peoples’ minds at ease and/or confirm / substantiate a client’s claims of activity.

April's day job is working in the return goods/customer service department for a medical device company in Bloomington.  April is still with her high school sweetheart Scott, and they have 2 boys Dom and Alex.  After graduating from Bloomington High School South in 1992 April attended 2 years at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville Tennessee.  April has always had an interest in life after death.  Even as a young child April remembers speaking of the unexplained things she would dream, see, feel and hear.  On one occasion April was lying in her room at her mothers house and a woman in period clothing was standing by her grandmother's organ smiling.  When April described this woman to her grandmother and mother, they both agreed that this must had been her Aunt Helen who the organ belonged to first.  Since that moment April has been even more interested and continues to search for answers today. April has a high sensitivity to electromagnetic fields (EMF) and is able to hone into these quite quickly in the field.

Mark Delaney (Co-Founder / Investigator)

Click The Ghost to E-mail Mark

Raised on southern folklore and personal reports of ghost encounters from family and friends, Mark has always been drawn to exploring the paranormal.  A previous research assistant for Indiana University, he has developed a data driven and analytic approach to evaluating evidence obtained.  As a member of the South Central Indiana Paranormal Research Organization (SCI-PRO), Mark provides onsite support during investigations and reviews data collected to assess claims of paranormal activity. If you notice, there is not much evidence on this site that is questionable and that is because of Mark's excellent ability to debunk and/or explain unusual things. Mark is also a family man as well and a driving force behind a one of the local bands in Bloomington, IN in which he plays guitar. By day, Mark works in a director level position spear-heading a Systems Of Care approach with families.

Jamie Greig (Case Manager / Investigator)

Click The Ghost to E-mail Jamie

Jamie was born and raised in Indianapolis. As a graduate from Indiana University, Jamie has a BA in secondary special education, a secondary teaching license, and has several years of experience in working with adolescents within the schools. Jamie currently works as a case manager in Bloomington and continues to work with youth and adolescents within the community. Previous to work with children and adolescents, Jamie was formerly in the field of broadcasting working in both radio and television production. Jamie’s interest in the paranormal was sparked in high school in 2001 upon researching and visiting Central State Hospital, a historical asylum in Indianapolis. As research on the abandoned property was conducted for the project, there was a strange sense of being followed, shadows appearing around corners, and strange audible whispers. Since this time, Jamie has always had an interest in the unexplained. Jamie is a bit of a skeptic when it comes to the paranormal and takes an evidence based scientific approach regarding research and investigation. Jamie’s background in broadcasting has lent itself to logically deciphering evidence and approaching it from a cynic’s eye. Jamie has a very easy going personality as well as a unique sense of humor which lends itself well to boosting the group morale.
