Story / Reports of Activity: Family recently built house on land in Brown County which falls on the historical ten o'clock line (see Text Below). Family has seen odd things - husband saw figure in full Indian wardrobe / dog near figure. He went to get wife and by time he returned, the figure was gone. They report several hot spots in the home. They talked about the grandchildren's room, guest bedroom, bonus room and main living room. They also spoke about fire pit area as a hot spot on the land. Fire pit apparently remains dry despite the level of rain during a storm. They have reviewed pictures that they took which were said to have 1) a figure of a young child in period clothing and in another picture, 2) there appeared to be what appears to be Indian type tools in pictures.
The following "Description" was taken directly from the site "http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM2960_10_O_Clock_Treaty_Line" and was not authored by www.Sci-Pro.net:
Long Description:
In 1809 the Miami Native American Indians sold some of their prized land, which
included a part of Parke County, to the U.S. Government. This treaty with the
Indians created the boundary line which came to be known as the Ten O'Clock
Line, so called because it was explained to the Indians as following a shadow
cast at 10:00 o'clock. Nine years later, this line would form the southwestern
boundary of the New Purchase. The eastern and southeastern boundaries had
already been established by previous treaties. The New Purchase opened for
settlement to whites the central section of Indiana which included what is now
Madison County. The boundary in modern terminology starts near Montezuma,
Indiana, on the Wabash River and runs southeast to the mouth of Raccoon Creek
near Seymour, Indiana.
Equipment Used: K2 meter / EMF meters, 2 voice recorders, thermometer (ambient and surface), 2 static cams in areas known as hot spots, Ovilus 1 and IR camcorders.
Suggestions: It is suggested that when the homeowner feels activity increasing again to contact SCI-PRO for another investigation.
Evidence suggesting Paranormal Activity: 1 strange EVP but we are not banking on this as being a substantial piece of evidence SINCE nothing else was captured but feel free to listen to it and see what you think (below). Several pictures taken from Canon Rebel Digital camera outside had light streaks caught (yellow and red) but this was debunked as the camera utilized the flash but was also set on night shot which kept aperture open afterwards. Yellow steaks were from illumination over the garage / red steaks caused by our LED flashlights.
